Danielle’s Bio
Danielle serves as Frontline’s Sports Missionary.
Danielle grew up in a small Iowa town in a Nazarene pastor’s family, where faith and missions were part of everyday life. From a young age, she felt drawn toward cross-cultural ministry, even before she knew exactly what that calling would look like. That journey led her to Zagreb, Croatia, in March 2021, where what began as a short season became a place that deeply shaped her.
While living in Croatia, Danielle served with a local church plant that walked closely with refugees, people seeking asylum, and families from many nations. Her ministry included youth work, compassionate care, and service alongside Roma communities while she learned Croatian and continued theological studies through European Nazarene College. Much of what she learned came through listening, building trust, and allowing God to teach her through relationships rather than programs.
Danielle is now preparing for a new chapter in Kenya, where she plans to serve through sports ministry with Nazarene Youth International. She is grateful to use sports as a bridge for connecting with communities and sharing God’s love. She is also pursuing peace and conflict studies at African Nazarene University.
