Danielleβs Bio
I grew up in a small town in Iowa in a Nazarene pastorβs family where faith and missions were part of everyday life. From a young age, I felt drawn toward cross cultural ministry, even when I didnβt fully understand what that calling would look like. That journey led me to Zagreb, Croatia, where I arrived in March 2021 expecting to stay for a short season and instead found a place that deeply shaped me.
While living in Croatia, I served with a local church plant in Zagreb that walked closely with refugees, people seeking asylum, and families from many different nations. My ministry has included youth work, compassionate care, and serving alongside Roma communities, all while learning the Croatian language and continuing my theological studies through European Nazarene College. Much of what Iβve learned has come from listening, building trust, and allowing God to teach me through relationships rather than programs.
Now, Iβm preparing for a new chapter in Kenya, where Iβll be serving through sports ministry with Nazarene Youth International. Sports have always been something I love, and Iβm grateful to use them as a bridge to connect with communities and share Godβs love. My education and ministry continue to grow together as I pursue peace and conflict studies at African Nazarene University. Iβm still learning, still asking questions, and deeply thankful for the people and places that have shaped my story.
